RECREATIONAL DANCE

Do you find yourself often moving to the beat of the music? Here at Active Tribe Studio, our main focus is to create a more active society in a welcoming an enjoyable environment. We offer various dance classes without the fuss of dance competitions, as we understand that dancing doesn’t always have to mean competing — join us in one of our recreational dance classes today, let’s get moving together!

JAZZ DANCE CLASS

Jazz is a fun and fast style of dance! Students can develop their musicality, coordination, flexibility and fitness.

BALLET DANCE CLASS

Ballet teaches students how to dance gracefully whilst developing their technique, coordination and flexibility.

HIP HOP DANCE CLASS

Hip hop is a street style of dance that is continuously evolving! It’s a fun class where you can dance to hip-hop music and develop your style.

 

 

LET’S GET ACTIVE TOGETHER

Aside from recreational dancing, we also offer a variety of classes to help anyone and everyone get involved in fun fitness by moving, grooving, shaking and stretching.

GET UP CLASS

Get up and get moving with our Get Up class!

This class is designed to promote self-confidence and physical skills through a circuit arranged class. Students will develop skills including: stamina, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. This is a fun and interactive class where students can encourage one another, create new friendships and get active!

cheer class

Cheer encourages teamwork and positivity! Cheerleading classes develop technique for stunting and lifts whilst dancing energetically!

TUMBLE CLASS

Tumble!

This is a recreational class where students can develop skills such as; handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers and handsprings. To develop these skills, conditioning exercises are taught to improve student’s strength.

FAMILY FLOW YOGA

Family flow yoga is an interactive class combining story telling, meditation, vinyasa flow and partner work. This fun class incorporates key yoga concepts while challenging the kids as well as the parents. It a great way to spend time as a family and practice together. 

YINYASA yoga

Yinyasa is a combination class encompassing both the yin and vinyasa yoga practice. Each class incorporates yoga concepts including chakras, yoga nidra, meditation, breath work and asanas. The class varies between fast paced movement to long-hold stretches. It is a great way to move the body and relax preparing you for a good nights sleep.

 

CUB CLASSES

Our Cub Classes are for children aged 2.5 years - pre school

BALLET CUBS

Our ballerinas will learn basic ballet movements and terminology whilst developing their coordination and basic musicality. Our Cubs classes will enable students to develop their ability to leave their parents confidently, improve their listening skills and learn to follow instructions. Students will also develop social skills to make beautiful new friendships!

*Viewing dates are allocated throughout the semester and we have a end of year concert!

Jazz Cubs is a fun-filled class where students learn basic dance movements and musicality and coordination. Our Cubs classes will enable students to develop their ability to leave their parents confidently, improve their listening skills and learn to follow instructions. GROWN-UP GROOVERS

Why should the kids have all the fun, right? Our Adult classes are suitable for anyone eager to get fit, try something new or simply just to have fun and groove to the beat!

Whether you have previous dance experience or you’re completely new to dance and fitness classes, at Active Tribe Studio we’re all about creating a fun and judgement-free environment for all — our Adult classes are available to ages 17 and over.

zumba

An aerobic fitness programme featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music.

BEGINNER ADULT DANCE

Beginner level dance class were you will learn a combination of fitness warm up routines and a new dance routine that varies in style fortnightly. The class begins with a fun warm up and ends in a relaxing cool down!

ADVANCE ADULT DANCE

 Perfect for anyone who has danced before! If you haven't danced for a few years or you currently still dancing this class is perfect for you! The style/dance changes fortnightly. Its face paced and a great opportunity to dance just for fun!
